Yaroslava originally from Ukraine moved to the UK in 2022.

She has loved drawing since childhood, painting with her father’s old oil paints and enjoying her favourite art class at school.

She has a Master’s degree in Transport Management Engineering from Ukraine National Aviation University, worked in the industry for some years then studied graphic design at the STEP IT Academy in Kviv. A love of children’s book illustration then created a passion to pursue it as a career.

Yaroslava lives in Cambridge with her two children and two dogs, her sources of inspiration, the kids for their energy, questions and ideas and the dogs where walks bring illustration ideas.

She is an avid photographer and traveller, loves to read and has a large collection of children’s picture books.
